Well after much whining and such we finally got an internet connection back in 2002 or so. I was 15 at the time. The first thing I did was chat all day, I remember getting excited about how I got myself a online boyfriend on our first day having an internet connection, LOL. ^^; It wasn't long before I decided I wanted my own site. So I visited Kinderlines again and began building a DBZ site. Now everyone in my family wanted a website so everyone began building at Kinderlines. My little brother had also build a DBZ site on Kinderlines and we linked eachother. I remember my username being really dumb, something like "Bulma15" or even "Veggie girl". Actually, my first site is still online, you can visit it here if you want to. xD
Well, after having my site there for a while I hungered for a "real" site. One with multiple pages and such. Well I had a DBZ magazine and people showed of their sites in it, and a lot of those people had a site at Geocities. So I decided to give it a try and it wasn't long before my site "DBZGT Girls" was born, a site about the women in the DragonBall series. I also changed my nickname to "Bra_1234". I also became staff at another DBZ site called "Vegetto Kingdom". This site was owned by a couple of guys and I became their designer. This site is also still online (what are the odds) and you can visit it right here!
My own site DBZGT Girls became pretty popular and I received 400 hits per day. I asked some DBZ sites with a domain to affiliate (back then, people with a .NL domain were like, the elite DBZ sites with a 1000 hits a day). I was very excited when I got a positive reply. After a while I started to consider a domainname. So, when I graduated for my exams when I was 16 my dad bought a domain name for me! My friend Xantri, who already was staff since I ran DBZGT Girls made a gorgeous layout, and my little brother (nicknamed "Dark Vegeta") also helped. We got online and we got pretty popular in a small period of time, I loved it. I also changed my name from "Bra_1234" to "Bura". When working on my site Bulma.NL I gained a lot of friends, most of them also had their own sites and some of them became staff. My MSN was really full of people who just added me because they thought my site was good, that was pretty cool. At some point Xantri wasn't much online any more so I had to take care of the site by myself. This turned out to be a good experience because I learned to design for myself and I learned to code. Not that I didn't knew about that already but now I knew lot's and lot's more.
And after a while I also build some more sites, this included an old blog of mine, various fanlistings, became active on forums and was active on some art websites such as Deviantart. DBZ became less popular but I still kept on running my site, and I'm still doing so today. It's just that I'm doing various of projects besides that. So eh, this includes my exciting *cough* bio about my internet life for now. More things will be added as soon as I remember them. Thanks for reading!
